You are a freelance archivist, hired off a three-line advertisement to catalogue the uncatalogued storage room of a small regional museum.
Each day, a few boxes are set out for you. Open them. Examine what you find. Fill in a catalogue card for each item - a name, a date, a condition, notes. The work is quiet, and the room is patient. It can afford to be.
Some items belong to one another's stories. Cross-reference them and see what surfaces.
- Fifteen short days - about two hours, playable in your browser
- 25 illustrated items, each with something worth noticing
- No enemies, no combat, no jump scares - the horror is quiet, textual, and arrives on catalogue cards
- Your notes matter. Write down what nags at you; you'll thank yourself later
- Connect the items correctly to reveal the underlying story
- Two endings. The last decision is yours alone, and the game will not push.
Free to play. If it stays with you afterward, donations are warmly received - and there's more of my work right here on itch.
